About the Role:
Powerslide Creative Design Services creates visual identities, branded materials, digital assets, and design systems that help businesses communicate clearly and consistently across multiple channels.
We are looking for a Senior Design Manager who can take ownership of design quality, creative delivery, team development, and project standards across a varied portfolio of client and internal work. You will work closely with designers, project teams, account stakeholders, and commercial teams to ensure creative work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design judgement with practical leadership. You will be expected to guide creative direction, improve design processes, support team development, and ensure projects remain aligned with client objectives, brand standards, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
Guide the overall quality and consistency of design work across multiple projects and client accounts.
Creative Direction:
Provide clear creative guidance and help teams translate business objectives into effective visual solutions.
Team Leadership:
Support and mentor designers, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain strong creative and professional standards.
Design Reviews:
Review concepts, layouts, brand applications, and final deliverables before presentation or release.
Project Delivery:
Work with project teams to ensure design work is completed on time, within scope, and to the expected quality.
Brand Development:
Support the development and evolution of brand identities, visual systems, guidelines, and campaign assets.
Client Collaboration:
Work with client facing teams to understand objectives, present design rationale, and respond effectively to feedback.
Process Improvement:
Review creative workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, collaboration, and consistency.
Resource Planning:
Coordinate design workloads, priorities, project requirements, and team capacity across multiple assignments.
Quality Control:
Ensure final creative outputs meet brand, technical, and production requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate clearly with project teams, commercial stakeholders, suppliers, and clients throughout the design process.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 6 years of professional design experience with previous responsibility for mentoring, supervising, or managing creative teams.
Design Expertise:
Strong experience in branding, visual communication, digital design, campaign creative, or related design disciplines.
Leadership:
Proven ability to support designers, provide clear feedback, and maintain high creative standards across a team.
Portfolio:
A strong portfolio demonstrating high quality commercial design work, creative problem solving, and successful project delivery.
Creative Judgement:
Confident evaluating design quality, visual hierarchy, typography, layout, brand consistency, and overall creative effectiveness.
Project Management:
Experience managing multiple creative projects, competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
Client Skills:
Comfortable presenting creative work, explaining design decisions, and responding constructively to feedback.
Organisation:
Excellent planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to maintain quality across several simultaneous projects.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to communicate creative ideas clearly and professionally.

Pay: £5,200.00-£6,100.00 per month
