We are seeking a highly skilled, multi-disciplined Working Maintenance Manager to lead operations across our expanding 5-star luxury lodge resort, commercial restaurant, and agricultural estate. This permanent position is designed for an experienced engineering professional who takes pride in balancing strategic estate management with hands-on technical execution on the tools.
Key Operational Focus Areas:
- Carpentry & Woodworking: Delivering high-end finish cabinetry, structural timber work, and luxury lodge decking maintenance. Mechanical & Electrical Engineering: Executing advanced electrical fault-finding, plant maintenance, and servicing heavy estate/agricultural machinery. Fabrication & Welding: Carrying out structural welding (MIG/ARC) and estate infrastructure repairs. Departmental Oversight: Managing time allocation, staff scheduling, budget tracking, and material procurement.
Candidate Requirements:
- Formally trade qualified (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent) in Carpentry, Building Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrated competency in structural welding and mechanical plant maintenance. Proven leadership capability with a strong track record in time management and stock procurement. Customer engagement. Full UK Driving Licence and operational flexibility to sign the standard Working Time Regulations 48-hour weekly limit opt-out to accommodate high-intensity peak seasonal demands.
