We’re looking for an enthusiastic eCommerce Support Administrator Apprentice to join our Sales & Purchasing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and learning new skills in a fast-paced business environment.
You’ll play an important role in supporting our customers across our eCommerce platforms while also gaining valuable experience in sales, purchasing and business administration.
What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Responding professionally to customer enquiries via eCommerce platforms, email and phone.
- Handling returns, refunds, replacements and shipment queries.
- Liaising with couriers and internal departments to resolve customer issues.
- Supporting the eBay Specialist with customer service and platform activity.
- Helping maintain excellent customer feedback by resolving issues quickly and proactively.
- Supporting online sales and merchandising, including raising orders and checking product and stock information.
- Assisting with new product listings, including descriptions, specifications and images.
- Maintaining reports covering complaints, returns, refunds and credits.
- Supporting the Purchasing team by raising accurate purchase orders.
- Maintaining delivery schedules and the Config Planner.
- Assisting with B2B orders, purchasing administration, reporting and data maintenance.
What we're looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, professional and proactive.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal English.
- Highly organised, accurate and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a changing environment.
- Interested in customer service, eCommerce and business administration.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software and platforms.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English.
