Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our professional and successful team.
About the Role
As an Estimator / VDA, you will play a key role in the repair journey by accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates and coordinating repairs to ensure vehicles are returned safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Estimator/VDA role.
- A valid ATA VDA Accreditation (preferred).
- A thorough understanding of modern vehicle repair techniques across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Experience inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles and producing accurate repair estimates.
- Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex and Thatcham Escribe.
- Knowledge of Bodyshop management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with insurers, engineers, customers and suppliers.
- The ability to negotiate repair costs and manage supplementary repair authorisations.
- Experience scheduling workshop repairs and working closely with production teams to ensure an efficient repair process.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A high level of personal and professional integrity.
