Building Safety Levy Technical Support Officer
37 hours per week - Permanent
£26,403 – £28,142 per annum (Pay award pending)
South Worcestershire Building Control Partnership brings together the Building Control services of Malvern Hills District Council, Worcester City Council and Wychavon District Council into one Partnership, sharing resources of expertise to provide a modern, flexible and customer focused Building Control Service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator to join a professional team to administer the new Building Safety Levy across our combined service across South Worcestershire and to provide technical administration support for the Building Control team where necessary.
In this role you will administer, calculate, invoice, collect, monitor and recover Building Safety Levy charges from developers in accordance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Building Safety Levy (England) Regulations 2025.
Part of the role will also act as an administrator to the team of Building Control Surveyor’s and you will keep accurate records of incoming building regulation applications, registering them on the system, and issue certificates of completion and notices when required.
Being able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including developers and external agents is therefore essential.
