Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately for food and beverages
- Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations with excellent time management to minimize wait times
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout your shift
- Assist in setting up the venue before opening and closing procedures at the end of each shift
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for guests, addressing questions or special requests professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is highly desirable
- Strong serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and giving correct change
- A friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
