Pay:£35,360 - £35,360 per Annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours over 4 days 7.30 - 6pm no set day off

What being a Assistant Nursery Manager involves
As a Assistant Nursery Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while maintaining excellence in your base room responsibilities. You will:
- Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education with pride and energy.
- Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Act as a role model, fostering an environment of initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
- Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to promote collaboration and excellent outcomes for children.
- Monitor and guide the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging and nurturing learning opportunities.
- Take responsibility for the nursery in the Nursery Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth operations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional development within your team.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects the unique needs of every child.

The Old Station Nursery Innsworth provides exceptional childcare in a purpose-built, eco-friendly setting opposite Imjin Barracks. Our purpose-built nursery setting offers spacious, sunlit rooms ideal for exploration, featuring eco-friendly elements like a sedum roof and rainwater harvesting. Outside, our expansive garden exhibits a mud kitchen, vegetable garden, and engaging outdoor activities our children love. To locate The Old Station Nursery Innsworth, follow signs to HQ ARRC and turn opposite Imjin Store. Situated directly across from Imjin Barracks and just 5 minutes from the A40. There is parking available onsite next to Costcutter.
