Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our hotel, bar & restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that workspaces are tidy, sanitary, and welcoming for all guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous experience in janitorial or cleaning environments.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the relevant personnel
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude are essential qualities for success in this role
Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
