Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza dough, toppings, and sauces with precision and care to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operate pizza ovens efficiently to cook pizzas to perfection, maintaining optimal temperature and timing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering strictly to food safety standards.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, supporting overall kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
- Serve freshly made pizzas to guests with enthusiasm, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, energetic work environment focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchens, preferably with a focus on pizza or Italian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and knives safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail during meal preparation and presentation.
- Prior experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable; familiarity with serving guests is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
