The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.
This includes preparing daily job schedules and routing work efficiently for the cleaning teams, including planning and scheduling Saturday work in advance during the working week to ensure the team can attend the unit and collect their equipment smoothly. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring all equipment, kits, stock, and work schedules are fully prepared beforehand.
The role also includes ensuring all staff collect the correct kits and equipment before leaving for jobs, monitoring stock levels, and overseeing the cleaning and laundering of cloths and mop heads to maintain company standards.
The Branch Manager must also manage staffing levels effectively and ensure all scheduled cleans are covered. In situations involving sickness, annual leave, or unexpected absence, the Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring suitable cover arrangements are made so that cleans continue to take place with minimal disruption to clients. If no arrangements can be made or rescheduled the manager must cover the job to ensure client satisfaction.
Once the teams have left for their scheduled work, the Branch Manager is responsible for handling customer enquiries, preparing and issuing quotations, managing day-to-day client communication, and supporting the business with customer invoice chasing alongside the accounts team.
The Branch Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is consistently achieved and that any concerns or issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently.
The role requires strong organisational and logistical planning skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage daily routing and scheduling efficiently to ensure high operational and customer service standards are maintained at all times.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to assist the successful candidate in all aspects of the role.

- Occasional Saturday scheduling may be required in line with business needs.
