Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Tig Welder. This role involves working in a dynamic fabrication environment, specialising in welding and assembly tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the creation and maintenance of high-quality metal components, ensuring precision and safety throughout all processes. Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, primarily sheet metal, adhering to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Operate a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete fabrication tasks efficiently.
- Assist in the assembly of metal components, ensuring accurate alignment and secure fastening.
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Fabricate custom parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all operations.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm (39hrs per week)
Permanent position after 12 weeks
