As The St Mawes hotel Assistant Food & Beverage Manager you will be responsible for managing operations to deliver an exceptional guest and team member experience; manage, train, and develop team members, and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the below objectives to the highest standards.

Objectives
· Coordinating daily restaurant & hotel management operations at The St Mawes hotel.
· Responsible for the delivery of first-class guest service at all times.
· Responsible for growing the team spirit between the front of house and kitchen staff.
· Maintaining the restaurant’s revenue & quality goals.
· The smooth running of the restaurant operations including the hidden cinema.
· Maintain company philosophy through standard operating procedures and sequence of service.
· Feedback & complaint handling.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate daily Front of House restaurant operations.
· Management of F&B team rotas according to business demand.
· Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction.
· Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve performance.
· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
· Train new and current employees and maintain service practices.
· Provide strong leadership.
· Keeping Food and Beverage and overhead trackers up to date and accurate.
· Strong knowledge of the EPOS system and the contact for any related issues and training.
· Support events and large group bookings to ensure they are run effectively with appropriate pricing and costs considered.
· Co-ordinate with reservations team to maximise bookings and manage cancellations & no shows.
