We are a warm, family-run nursery located in the heart of Bramhall village, close to shops, cafés, parks and excellent local amenities. Our aim is to nurture confident, curious and happy children through inspiring teaching, meaningful play, caring relationships and unforgettable experiences. Using our own nursery minibus, we regularly take learning beyond the nursery walls, bringing children's interests to life through exciting outings and real-world experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence and deepen children's understanding of the world around them.
We're looking for an Early Years Teacher who shares our passion for creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, inspired and excited to learn.
Who We're Looking For
Qualifications are important, but passion, creativity and a genuine love of early childhood education are what truly make the difference.
You will:
- Hold Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for delivering outstanding early years education.
- Inspire children through high-quality teaching that is rooted in play, curiosity and meaningful experiences.
- See the world through children's eyes and delight in their imagination, creativity and endless questions.
- Get excited about puddle jumping, bug hunts, den building, messy play and bringing stories to life.
- Know how to skilfully extend children's thinking through purposeful interactions and thoughtful questioning.
- Recognise that the smallest moments often become the biggest learning opportunities.
- Be creative, reflective and able to adapt learning to follow children's interests and individual needs.
- Be warm, nurturing and committed to creating an environment where every child feels safe, confident and ready to thrive.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Be reliable, professional and fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
What You'll Do
As our Early Years Teacher, you will:
- Lead high-quality teaching and learning across the early years, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.
- Plan and deliver inspiring, play-based learning experiences that ignite curiosity, creativity and confidence.
- Observe, assess and monitor children's progress, using your knowledge to tailor learning to each child's individual journey.
- Support children's communication, language, personal, social and emotional development alongside their wider learning.
- Help children explore the wider community through enriching outings and experiences using our nursery minibus.
- Foster a love of learning by following children's interests and turning everyday moments into exciting learning opportunities.
- Support and mentor colleagues, sharing best practice and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with families, working together to give every child the very best start.
- Help create magical memories and meaningful learning experiences that children will carry with them long after they leave our nursery.
