We are currently looking for a Full Time Store Assistant, to join the team in our Stoke Store - (ST1 5NJ)
Hours of Work:
37.25 hours per week average over a 2 week rota as follows:
Mon - 08:00 - 17:15
Tues - 08:00 - 17:45
Wed - 08:00 - 17:15
Thur - 08:00 - 17:15
Fri - 08:00 - 16:15
Sun - 10:00 - 14:15
Mon - 08:00 - 17:15
Tues - 08:00 - 17:45
Wed - 08:00 - 17:15
Thur - 08:00 - 17:15
Every other weekend Fri / Sat & Sunday as none working days
The Role:
The role will be customer facing and will include:
Assisting customers in store, helping with their shopping needs, giving recommendations, making their shopping experience one they will want to come back to and is the professional face of Alan Howard.
The role will also include taking telephone orders for salon deliveries, liaising with customers and sales representatives, picking and processing of large quantities of orders ready for dispatch and merchandising and replenishment of stock deliveries among other duties.
There will also be some salon deliveries included in the role so a confident driver is needed as this is a driving a company van.
This is a fast paced environment and the role requires someone who is a customer focused, team player who is capable of working under time pressures.
Key skills:
You will have a proven record of excellent customer service, basic computer skills for till work and a confident telephone manner. A positive can do attitude and a willingness to help others. Experience with POS and CRM systems an advantage
You will enjoy the challenge of a fast paced environment, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business. You will be professional and well presented.
Experience in retail, customer service or the hair and beauty industry would be an advantage.
Full driver licence (not automatic only) is required
