Duties
- Support children and young people with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities
- Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet individual needs and promote emotional well-being
- Foster open communication by actively listening and engaging with young people to build trust and rapport
- Monitor behavior and intervene appropriately to ensure safety for all residents and staff
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and progress in accordance with organizational policies
- Assist with transportation needs by driving children to school, appointments, or community activities when required
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals to support positive outcomes for children
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable
- Valid driving license with clean driving record to safely transport children when needed
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with young people, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt approaches based on individual needs
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,137.31 per year
