CONTENT & COMMUNITY MARKETING EXECUTIVE
We’re looking for an ambitious and creative Content & Community Marketing Executive to join our team at Double-Barrelled Brewery. Since launching in 2018, we’ve been on a fast-paced growth journey, bringing our beers to new pubs, retailers, and festivals across the UK. If you’re passionate about challenger brands, content creation, and building community on and offline in a fast paced and innovative industry, this could be your next big opportunity.
If you think that a role making content in a brewery sounds like a dream job, then read on!
About the Role
As Content & Community Marketing Executive, you'll take the reins on our social and community presence and be the person who makes sure everything we put out sounds, looks and feels unmistakably like us. From owning our social channels & digital presence to chatting with drinkers at events all over the country, you'll create scroll-stopping content, craft stories worth sharing, and help our weekly newsletter earn its place in people's inboxes. You'll get real ownership from day one, with exposure across content, community, partnerships and brand, and the chance to contribute to real, measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation + Copywriting
- Own our social media channels: planning, creating and posting trend setting content, then tracking performance and using what you learn to keep improving
- Writing witty, engaging and personality full copywriting across every brand touchpoint
- Make content wherever it happens: in the brewery, in supermarkets and pubs, or out at events - wherever there's a story worth telling you’ll be there with your camera!
- Build out our brand and community tools that give our most loyal fans a reason to keep paying attention from our email subscribers to our run club members
Community & Engagement
- Build and support relationships with the creators and partners we work with - from outreach and briefing through to meeting them on the ground at events
- Be our voice out in the world - chatting with drinkers at events and festivals, replying to comments and DMs online, and turning casual followers into advocates
- Get stuck into other brands' and accounts' comments and stories to develop industry relationships. The kind of back-and-forth that gets us noticed by new audiences, not just our own followers
Brand & Campaigns
- Be our brand custodian - the last line of defence for look, voice and vibe, wherever they show up
- Support the planning and delivery of brand campaigns, trade marketing and activations
About You
- You’re a creative with a natural flair for content creation and storytelling, with examples of your work to back this up
- Passionate about digital communications, social media trends, and brand building
- Strong copywriting skills with an eye for detail and personality-driven content
- You enjoy talking to people – whether that’s at a brand event or in our comments and DMs
- Comfortable and confident in front of the camera as well as behind it
- Proficient in editing tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Organised, proactive, and confident, with a willingness to get stuck in across the business and work quickly
- 1-2 years’ experience of content creation. Some experience at an FMCG brand is preferred but not essential
- A marketing degree/qualification or similar
What We Offer
- A full-time role in a fast-growing, dynamic independent brewery
- Exposure to a range of marketing in a growing drinks business – brand, digital, grocery, and on trade
- Opportunities to attend festivals and events, promoting our beers across the UK
- A supportive environment with clear opportunities for progression
