This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, graduates, aspiring teachers or education professionals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential. You could be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, working with small groups, or providing general classroom support, depending on the needs of the school.

Job Role
- Support pupils with their learning and development within a Year 6 classroom
- Work alongside the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging lessons and activities
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support where needed
- Assist pupils with their confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
- Develop positive and professional relationships with pupils and members of the school team
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or Teaching Assistant Apprentice
- Experience supporting children within a Primary School environment
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
- A genuine commitment to helping children achieve their potential
