Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safe transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised living space for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and their families.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as required.
- A caring disposition with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

- Position: Care Worker/Home Care Assistant
- Location: Lancashire, Chorley and surrounding areas
- Hours: Flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts available
- Contract: Permanent or part‑time – hours tailored to your availability
- Start Date: Immediate vacancies available
- Full UK Driving Licence (Preferred)
- Pay: £12.25 per hour
