We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and oversee a Children’s Home dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Children’s Home, ensuring a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all residents
- Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs, including those requiring specialized support such as dementia or mental health considerations
- Supervise and mentor staff members, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere built on leadership, accountability, and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards governing children’s residential care
- Oversee medication administration processes, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety protocols to maintain high standards of care
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and community partners to support the children’s well-being and development
- Monitor operational budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior or dementia care is highly desirable
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience within a care home setting
- Extensive knowledge of care plans development and implementation for vulnerable populations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safeguarding policies
- Experience working in home care or residential settings that serve children or young people is advantageous
- Knowledge of regulations related to children’s residential services and best practices in child protection

Pay: £50,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
