Care Assistant (Days and Nights)
Sutherlands, Care Home with Nursing - Wymondham, Norfolk
£13.00 per hour
Sutherlands provides Nursing care, Dementia Care, NHS Continuing Care and Residential Care for people who do not require nursing care.
As a Care Assistant you will work as part of a team that is engaged in providing the care our residents need but also in a respectful, dignified and timely manner. Recording the care that you provide is important to demonstrate what care you have provided.
Equally important is for you to create a welcoming, supportive and stimulating environment in recognition that Halvergate House is a Home.
As a Care Assistant you will be:
- Responsible for delivering a high quality of care. You will be an example of what good care is.
- Make timely record of care you have provided.
- Make timely record of observations you make whilst providing care.
- Report any concerns to nurses/ seniors and to the manager if necessary.
- Ensuring all areas across the Care Home are kept clean, tidy and pleasant for all residents and family members
- Communicating professionally and warmly with visitors, family members and other health care professionals
- Promoting the Home in a professional manner and raise awareness of the Home within the local community.
- Punctual for the start of your shift, professional in appearance and wearing the correct uniform.
- Be reliable and dependable.
