Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed..
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living, senior care, or home care environments; experience with nursing homes or hospice care is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and first aid certification.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a caring attitude and patience when working with vulnerable populations
- Flexibility to work in a live-in setting that may include overnight shifts or emergency call-outs
