Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaning Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various lodges, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the lodges in between check in and check out times
- Maintain laundry throughout and after shift
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene and safety standards
