Overview
We are seeking a dedicated GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our professional dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients, ensuring they are well-informed about their treatment.
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Support patients through effective communication, addressing any concerns or questions with professionalism.
- Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Administer radiographs as authorised and support with other clinical duties as required.
Requirements
- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse is essential.
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good IT literacy to handle digital patient records and practice management systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a compassionate approach towards patients.
- Knowledge of current infection control standards and health & safety regulations in dentistry.
