A Table Café,is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy independent brunch café on a part-time or full-time basis.
This is a fast-paced role where you'll play an important part in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and is happy to support the kitchen wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout the day
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Empty bins and assist with waste disposal
- Receive and store deliveries
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Replenish cleaning supplies and kitchen stock
- Support the kitchen during busy service periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen porter experience is preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willing to learn and assist with a variety of kitchen tasks
- Flexible availability, including weekends
