About the Role
We're looking for a reliable Driving Assistant to join our growing team. Using your own car (in excellent condition), you'll transport children between school, home, and activities. For club and activity runs, active supervision is required throughout — you'll be responsible for the child's care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport children between school, home, clubs, and activities using your own vehicle
- Provide active supervision and care during club/activity runs
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-presented vehicle at all times
- Communicate clearly and reliably with families regarding timing and any changes
- Build a warm, consistent, trusted presence with the children and families you support
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Own a car in excellent condition (high standards of comfort and presentation are expected)
- Comfortable and confident working around children
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Safeguarding training will be provided (first aid a plus)
Hours
Flexible, part-time hours during term-time, primarily around school drop-off (7:30–8:40am) and pick-up (3:00–4:50pm) windows, with some additional bookings for after-school clubs and activities.
Pay
From £50.00 per hour
