We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Body Shop Assistant / Prep Assistant to join our busy, friendly independent vehicle body repair workshop.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who already has some experience in a body shop and wants to develop their skills in a professional, high-quality environment.
The role
You'll be supporting our technicians with the day-to-day running of the workshop, including:
- Vehicle washing and preparation
- Masking and sanding
- Panel preparation
- Removing and refitting bumpers, lights and trim
- Mixing fillers and primers
- Workshop housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Moving vehicles and collecting parts
- Assisting with repairs as required
What we're looking for
- Some experience working in a vehicle body shop or accident repair centre
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Pride in producing quality work
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
