THE ROLE : We are looking for someone who is highly organised and disciplined to join our core team to keep systems and communication running smoothly. You will work directly alongside The Founder and will be the glue to ensure everyone gets to where they need to be to deliver exceptional entertainment and support the day to day running of UA Live Group.
Whilst this is the main responsibility, this role is varied and can be grown over time in many directions. As part of your development, you will be supported to learn more about the entertainment and agency industry, including the processes and responsibilities that sit behind the live entertainment business and agent industry.
At this time of growth we are looking for someone who will join us as an ambassador for UA and enjoy being a face of the company alongside the core team when meeting clients and exploring new avenues. You will be someone who enjoys structure, systems and organisation day to day, but who is also excited by representing the company and exploring new avenues alongside the core team at occasional industry showcases, client meetings and live events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Organising team logisitics, booking accommodation and (at times) flights, collecting all relevant information and updating our system with all details relating to bookings, checking off artists and clients and maintaining accurate availability of our talent.
· Act as a key point of contact for artistes - building a relationship and trust with all team members to have direct contact and maintaining UA’s high standard team culture.
· Learn and follow the correct processes, standards and industry expectations involved in contracting artistes and clients.
· Assisting with day to day running and support of UA Live Groups activities.
· To be an ambassador of UA, representing the company positively when communicating with artistes, clients, venues and industry contacts
· Be an active part of weekly Core Team meetings regarding marketing and operations and to attend industry events scattered throughout the year with The Founder and other team members.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
· A natural people person with a positive, engaging and respectful manner.
· A highly organised person, proactive and able to bring structure, consistency and good time management to a busy, creative and sometimes reactive business.
· This person does not need to know everything about the entertainment industry already, but they must have a genuine interest in live entertainment and a willingness to learn how the business works.
· Someone who is comfortable working with online systems and willing to learn our booking and talent management software.
· A great team player who enjoys the culture, energy and personality of the showbiz world, who will get a buzz by playing an important part behind the scenes rather than being on stage.
WORKING ARRANGEMENT : This is a hybrid role, giving you flexibility to work remotely while staying connected with the team and the business. You'll typically spend 1 to 2 days a week in the office, based Leicestershire/Warwickshire border, alongside attending meetings, client visits, showcases and industry events when needed.
SALARY AND HOURS : £27,000 - £32,000 FTE (pro rate over 20 hours + per week) depending on experience.
