Overview
We are a growing, professional insolvency practice looking for a motivated and organised Business Administration Apprentice (Level 3) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in business administration, finance, or professional services while gaining hands-on experience in the insolvency sector.
Working closely with experienced professionals, you will support clients through the early stages of insolvency procedures and assist with important compliance and onboarding processes.
The working hours include one day per week at college where you would be expected to complete all apprenticeship specific work. We would arrange to enrol the successful candidate in their local college which offers the course to reduce travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting initial client onboarding checks and gathering required documentation
- Completing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and identity verification checks
- Supporting directors and companies entering insolvency procedures
- Explaining processes to clients clearly and professionally
- Maintaining accurate client records and case files
- Assisting with preparation of correspondence and documents
- Liaising with clients by telephone, email, and in person
- Managing incoming enquiries and directing queries appropriately
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company procedures and regulations

Desirable Experience
Previous customer-facing experience would be highly beneficial, particularly in roles such as:
- Bar work
- Waiting staff / hospitality
- Retail
- Reception or customer service positions
These roles often develop strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work under pressure — all of which are valuable in this position.
Training & Development
- Training towards Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification
- Full training provided in insolvency procedures and AML compliance

Entry Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Grade (6/B) Required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than previous office experience
Pay: £8.55-£9.06 per hour
