Midday Supervisory Assistant (SEND Primary School)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a busy and dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, supporting them during lunchtime to feel safe, calm and successful.
The role includes supervising and supporting children in the school hall while they eat their lunch, with a strong focus on:
- Encouraging positive communication and social interaction
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Promoting independence and life skills,
- Encouraging healthy eating habits
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of all children at all times
You will also help with setting up and clearing the hall for lunchtime service and consistently promote positive behaviour in line with the values and ethos of our school.

- Willing to support children with a range of additional needs, with training and guidance provided
Working Hours
11.30 am – 13.30 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, with opportunities to attend whole-school training on INSET days and bi-weekly one-hour after-school sessions.
