We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Medical Secretary to join our Neurology team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, based on site.
In this key role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to consultants and the wider clinical team. Responsibilities include managing clinic correspondence, typing and formatting medical letters, coordinating appointments, handling patient enquiries, and maintaining accurate records in line with NHS standards.
Key requirements:
Experience in a medical secretarial or administrative role
Excellent typing and IT skills
Strong organisational and communication abilities
Ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Experience within neurology or a hospital setting is desirable
