SR Furniture is a well-established UK furniture manufacturer, producing high-quality furniture for residential, commercial, and retail customers across the country. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Furniture Production Operative's to join our manufacturing team.
The Role
As a Furniture Production Operative, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke and standard furniture products, ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture components using hand and power tools.
- Operate woodworking and manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare finished products for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desirable:
- Experience within furniture manufacturing or woodworking.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience operating CNC machinery.

Working Hours
Minimum 40 Hours per week, with overtime available during busy periods.
