Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of designated sections within the kitchen
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste
- Support junior kitchen staff through training and mentorship as required
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Demonstrable skills in meal preparation and presentation
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment is essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of quality
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the hospitality industry
