Job Summary
SIA AUTOS is seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater / Spray Painter / Stripper & Fitter to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling the full vehicle repair process, from stripping and panel repairs through to spray painting and reassembly, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform panel beating and body repairs, including dent removal, straightening, and replacement of damaged panels
- Carry out spray painting duties, including preparation, color matching, and finishing to a high standard
- Strip and fit vehicle components, including panels, trims, lights, bumpers, and mechanical fittings as required
- Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Use tools, equipment, and materials responsibly and efficiently
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in panel beating, spray painting, stripping, and fitting
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and refinishing processes
- Ability to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
Preferred (Optional)
- Relevant trade qualification or certification
- Previous experience in an automotive body shop environment
- Valid driver’s license
