Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various holiday let premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a professional setting.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Change linen.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed - depending on the client
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in domestic and commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred. Also possibility to clean Airbnb's to fulfil desired hours.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
- A car and driving licence is essential for the job.
