Duties
- Assist in food preparation tasks under the supervision of experienced chefs, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety standards are met
- Learn proper cooking techniques and assist with basic cooking duties to develop culinary skills
- Help with baking activities such as preparing doughs, decorating baked goods, and maintaining bakery stations
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene and quality in every dish prepared
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including inventory checks and ingredient storage management
- Contribute to creating a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues and embracing new challenges with enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; a strong interest in culinary arts is essential
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Experience in baking or pastry work is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
