Grounds Maintenance / Caretaker

Salary: £13.00 per hour (27,040 per annum)
40 Hours per week
7am - 3pm
THE ROLE:
At CC Cousins, facilities maintenance, we are looking for a competent and detail orientated Caretaker for our site at Trident place, Hatfield Business Park.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure the grounds are safe, tidy, and presentable.
- Perform general cleaning and litter picking of outdoor areas, walkways, car parks and kerb lines.
- Litter picking hedges and shrubbery.
- Maintaining green spaces including hedge trimming and grass cutting
- Carry out seasonal tasks such as gritting in winter and maintaining flowerbeds or planted areas.
- Watering green spaces and plants.
- Maintain perimeter fencing, signage, and external lighting (reporting faults as required).
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks and highlight any larger jobs to CC Cousins where needed.
- Report hazards, damage, or maintenance issues promptly.
- Monitor waste and recycling bins, ensuring regular emptying and cleanliness of waste areas.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are used safely and stored securely.
The role is stationary so you will not need to travel to any other location.
Tools, welfare, and uniform provided.
Desirable skills include the ability to work alone and manage your own work flow, polite and friendly manner.
Working Hours are Full time
7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
