Location: Confidential (Exciting new furniture retail store launch)
Hours: Flexible, including weekdays and weekends
Shift Pattern: Three 4-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday (rota basis)
Pay: National Minimum Wage + Performance Bonus Scheme
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Assistants to join our team for the exciting launch of a new furniture retail store. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
- Assist customers with product enquiries and sales.
- Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Process handwritten invoices, so good written communication and legible handwriting are essential.
- Replenish stock from the warehouse to the shop floor.
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays (visual merchandising experience or an interest in visual merchandising is an advantage).
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store.
- Support with general day-to-day retail operations.
- Undertake manual handling duties, including lifting and moving furniture and other heavy items when required.
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, approachable, and confident people person.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good timekeeping and reliability are essential.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts across Monday to Sunday.
- Cash handling experience is desirable.
- Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential—full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- An interest in visual merchandising would be an advantage.
