Class 1 HGV Trunk Driver (Night shirt) – Trunking – No Handball
We are looking for reliable, professional Class 1 HGV Drivers (LGV C+E) for trunking work between our Lockerbie yard and Palletways Hub.
This is trunking work, using a modern fleet in a supportive transport team. Shifts are rotating but planned in advance, giving you flexibility to balance work and life.
Ideal applicants: Over 25 with 2+ years’ driving experience (for insurance), but we can consider skilled drivers who don’t meet these criteria.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete HGV Class 1 trunking runs between Lockerbie and Palletways Hub
- Follow Driver Hours, WTD, and tachograph regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
Requirements
- Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and compliance
- Preferably over 25 with 2+ years’ experience (negotiable for skilled drivers)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
