We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Office Manager to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly. If you enjoy working across multiple areas, improving systems and taking ownership of processes, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
What you will be doing day to day:
Production Planning:
- Schedule and coordinate work for the workshop. This is a key part of the role!
- Purchasing and Supplier Coordination:
- Raise and manage purchase orders.
- Liaise with supplier to ensure timely deliveries. Whilst building strong relationships.
- Ensure quotations are inputted accurately.
Additional tasks/projects:
- General day to day operations to keep the business running smoothly.
- Implement a ERP in to the business and shape processes going forwards.
- Responsible for health & safety; ensuring risk assessments are kept up to date; staff training and anything else required.
- Assist in the implementation and maintain ISO9001 standard.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in office management, operations or coordination role essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach.
- Strong Excel and general IT skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working cross-functionally.
It’s an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to production planning or scheduling.
- Previous ERP experience.
- Previous experience working in an ISO9001 environment.
- Understanding of Health and Safety Practices.
Our working hours are 7.30 – 5pm Monday to Thursday; 730pm – 1pm Friday.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
