Job Title: Production Lead Operative
JOB PURPOSE:
The Lead Operator will comply with the production plan and lead their team in producing product to a high standard and will be responsible for ensuring targets are achieved.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Achievement of daily production plan.
- Operation of line to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Facilitation of seamless handover to incoming shift.
- Ensure all finished goods are completed as per product specifications.
- Establish sound working relationship with other Operators, Supervisors and other team members to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved from the line.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Ensuring that all information relevant to “preventative and protective measures” is passed to shift supervisor.
- Liaise with the Health & Safety Assistant to establish controls for health & safety to include: -Daily Start Up checks, monitoring of corrective actions.
- Training new Operatives in-line with Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring compliance with these procedures.
- Conduct yourself in a responsible and courteous manner at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested
- Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies.
- Take an active part in preventing accidents, ensuring all accidents and near miss incidents are reported in a timely manner.
- Adhere to the Food Safety & Quality Manual, Policies and Associated Procedures.
