Full-Time Event Driver
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Full-Time Event Driver to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role supporting the setup, operation, and dismantling of entertainment equipment at a wide variety of events across the UK.
This is a permanent full-time position, subject to a 3-month probationary period, during which performance, attendance, and suitability for the role will be assessed.
Successful applicants will play a key role in delivering exceptional event experiences while representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, transportation, setup, operation, and dismantling of event equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is installed safely, correctly, and on time before events begin.
- Remain on-site during events to monitor and operate equipment as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and venue staff.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of each event.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Comfortable driving company vehicles, including long wheelbase vans, and travelling to various event locations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving event equipment.
- Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required by the event schedule.
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
