Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and equipment to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Assemble parts and systems according to schematics and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as part of the job requirements.
