£40,000 – £50,000 | Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
A well-established ERP software provider based in Manchester is looking for a Product Owner to join their growing Product Team.
This is a great opportunity to join an established, collaborative Product Team, where you’ll take ownership of a key area of the product and play a hands-on role in shaping its future. You’ll work closely with your dedicated Scrum Team to deliver high-quality, valuable features that align with the wider Product Vision and Roadmap.
It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys ownership, influence, and working in a mature, product-led organisation where good product practice is genuinely valued.
The role
As Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for maximising the value of your product area by translating business and customer needs into clear, prioritised outcomes for delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and managing a defined area of the product, aligned to the overall Product Vision and Roadmap
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, customer challenges, and opportunities
- Creating, refining, and prioritising the product backlog to ensure the Scrum Team is always delivering the highest-value work
- Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborating daily with your Scrum Team to support delivery and remove blockers
- Participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Balancing short-term delivery with longer-term product goals
- Using data, feedback, and insight to inform product decisions and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years’ experience working as a Product Owner (or similar product-focused role)
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable user stories
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience working on B2B software products (ERP or complex systems experience is a plus, but not essential)
