Summary
We are seeking a Feed Manufacturing Operative to join our team in Hilltown, Co Down. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient and safe production of animal feed products, supporting our company's mission to provide high-quality supplies to farmers and growers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor feed manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Assist with mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Record production data accurately and report any issues.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
Essential Requirements
- Forklift licence/experience
- Loading Shovel licence/experience
- Proven experience or knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP.
- Basic understanding of food production processes.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good mathematical skills for measurement and record-keeping.
- Commitment to health and safety regulations.
Hours of Work
- Mon - Friday 8am - 5.30pm
- Every other Saturday 8am - 1pm
