We are seeking a proactive and skilled Domestic Appliance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep appliances running smoothly and efficiently for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Relevant experience is a must
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on domestic appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, and air conditioning units.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks to extend appliance lifespan.
- Repair or replace mechanical components, electrical parts, and control systems with precision.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment failures, providing clear solutions.
- Assist with installation and setup of new appliances, ensuring proper operation.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed and parts used, for each job.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or related fields.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical diagrams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide junior technicians or apprentices when needed.
- Experience repairing various household equipment, including air conditioning systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for domestic appliances and HVAC equipment.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building-related appliance installations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
