Job Details
The Shared Service Centre provides specialist business support services that underpin the delivery of payroll, pensions, recruitment, ordering, invoicing, IT frontline and HR enquiry services. It operates and maintains a range of systems and processes, ensuring accurate data entry, calculations, advice, information, policy and procedure guidance, and monitoring activities.
These posts are based within the Transactions Payroll Team. The main duties include the creation and maintenance of employee records within Oracle Cloud, including processing new starts, leavers, transfers and contract changes. You will also be responsible for dealing with payroll queries and undertaking calculations relating to annual leave, statutory sick pay, statutory maternity pay, overpayments and salary advances.

The Person
- Educated to SVQF level 5 (4 qualifications at intermediate 2 level or above) or equivalent in a business/customer service subject that would demonstrate the standard of work required for the role.
- Possess strong literacy, numeracy and data entry skills.
- Can communicate effectively with a wide range of customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Have experience using computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- Can organise and prioritise workloads, working accurately to deadlines.
- Have the ability to interpret information, follow procedures and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
