Job Description
We are looking for a pro-active and friendly person to join our small and friendly Apprenticeship and Compliance team. You will provide Administration support within the team to ensure our Apprentices have a smooth onboarding experience.
This role is perfect for someone enjoys admin and possesses a keen eye for detail. You will help to ensure our apprentices are seamlessly onboarded, tracked, and compliant from day one.
Experience working within an administrative background is essential. Previous experience in apprenticeships, education or funding would be beneficial but certainly not essential. We will provide training to ensure you feel comfortable with your role.
Main Duties
- Manage apprenticeship sign-ups, set up initial assessments, prepare paperwork, and check learner eligibility.
- Add new records to the various databases and ensure that all documents are signed before the start date.
- Run compliance checks and locate various evidence documents.
- Maintain accurate tracking sheets, including starts planners, probation trackers, and textbook inventories.
- Answer phones when needed and help monitor the shared apprentice support email inbox.
- Stay up to date with the apprenticeship funding rules and relevant changes.
- Chasing for signatures/documents via email and telephone.
About you
- Ability to input data accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to learn new software systems and spreadsheets quickly.
- Ability to be reactive and pro-active, manage multiple tasks and changing deadlines.
- Ability to handle phone calls and support emails in a clear, helpful way.
- Ability to work using your own initiative and troubleshoot any issues.
Skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft applications to include; Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365 (Sharepoint)
- Minimum of Grade C/4 English and ability to write clearly and professionally.
