Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Driver
24hr Solutions – Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Location: In-person - Hertford
Start Time: 9:00 AM
24hr Solutions are hiring dependable and alert CIT Drivers to support our secure transport operations. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone who values routine, responsibility, and working independently on the road.
You’ll be tasked with transporting high-value items securely between locations while upholding the highest safety standards. If you’re looking for a stable role in a trusted company, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive securely and professionally to transport high-value goods
- Follow company protocols to ensure security and compliance
- Conduct vehicle checks and report any maintenance concerns
- Observe all traffic laws and company driving standards
- Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries
- Stay in regular contact with our National Control Centre
- Handle unexpected delays or issues calmly and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid UK driving licence (clean record preferred)
- Prior experience in security or a role requiring an SIA licence is a bonus
- Good understanding of safe driving practices and road laws
- Strong attention to detail and punctuality
- Ability to stay focused and professional under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Applicants must not have active CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcy proceedings
