We are looking to recruit a Production Operator (GKVs) to join our team at Tweed Valley Maltings. This is a full-time, permanent role working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, made up of 5 dayshift sets and 3 nightshift sets.
Key Duties:
- Prepare for manufacturing operations, activities and tasks.
- Carry out production operations safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance, cleaning and basic repairs.
- Monitor and control the production process to support quality and efficiency.
- Carry out inspection and testing activities as required.
- Manage, check and control materials within your area of responsibility.
- Complete effective operational handovers.
- Operate ancillary equipment and transport materials, including forklift trucks and industrial vehicles.
- Maintain a clean-as-you-go approach to support high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the site.

- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Committed to health, safety, quality and hygiene standards.
- Able to identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Team player with clear communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to work varying hours during peak season.
- Strong desire to learn and develop.
