Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cladder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing cladding systems on various building projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics and drawings to ensure accurate installation of cladding systems
- Cutting, shaping, and fitting cladding materials using hand tools and power tools
- Welding components as required to secure cladding panels and frameworks
- Installing cladding on walls, facades, or roofs with precision and care
- Assisting with fabrication tasks to prepare materials for installation
- Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications
- Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
- Collaborating with other trades such as roofing, masonry, plumbing, and carpentry teams to complete projects efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or a related trade such as roofing, carpentry, masonry, or fabrication
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints
- Skilled in welding techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools for construction tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, working at heights, and handling hazardous materials
- Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience with plumbing or masonry is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is valued highly
